Our Preschool is dedicated to the education, safety and care of children.
Our center is safe, warm and engaging, inviting children to explore.
Learning has never been so much fun.
Our toddler program starts with learning balance, as part of playtime, and grows/expands from there. Happiness and learning go hand in hand with our toddlers.
Our Preschool program introduces language, math, art, music and science and builds a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning for your child.
We help your child sharpen various skills, like listening, speaking, reading, writing readiness, and critical social-emotional skills. We build a strong foundation for Kindergarten.
4 weeks of fun-filled days of indoor and outdoor activities. Each week has a special theme, like “Water Week”, with other weeks focused on camping, science, animals, art and cooking. Fun times!
Our curriculum and environment is designed to tap into, stimulate and nourish the child’s love of learning. We balance traditional learning with playtime, and we have a large outdoor playground.
We offer a wide variety of academic, cultural, artistic and music activities, all designed to foster children’s interests and emerging skills.
Language is built into our daily activity, and includes story-telling, book reading and learning the alphabets
We start with basic lessons like identifying and creating patterns and quickly move on to advanced exercises as the child matures, sparking and nourishing their interest in math.
We teach singing and movement during circle time and plan different art and craft projects to match with our monthly curriculum.
Our approach is focused on developing a balanced, healthy, smart child. We provide a nourishing, safe environment so the child can grow without fear. Everyone is equal at our school. Everyone is valued. Our programs are designed to inspire the child’s interest in math, art, language and music- and social skills. The goal is to prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond. This is our goal. This is our life mission.
We are hosting many exciting events throughout the year. These are some of our most memorable moments.
Both of my sons have been going to Bright Little Minds since November 2017. It was definitely a new experience for them. Previously, they were attending a child care facility for a few years. We thought it was time to enroll our oldest into preschool to prepare him for kindergarten this coming fall. For convenience, we also enrolled our younger son.
Let me first say, my boys can be a handful at times. I give all the staff members major KUDOS for being able to handle them. When they do miss behave, the teachers calmly explain to them why their actions are wrong. Ms Ivy and her team are very patient and always handle the situations properly.
My boys have learned so much at BLM They provide a very structured learning environment. It is amazing to see how much their skills have grown in five months of school. They even learned a few words in Spanish. Keep up the good work team. I definitely recommend this school/daycare.
Our son has been going to BLM for over a year now, and been in 2 of 3 rooms. He is a challenge, yet they never give up and have stuck with him. He's learning well, getting better with social skills, and all the teachers are quite nice and take a special interest in all the children in their care.
My son has been coming here for the last 9 months since he turned 2 years old. Ms Ivy the director was informative and kind from the beginning and was happy to answer any questions I had about their curriculum.
The head teachers Ms Ellen and Ms Liza as well as all the support staff have been amazing with my son through his transitioning into school. They were calm and assuring whenever he had a rough time during drop off and helped guide me as a first time parent along the way with any behavioral issues that came up. They would send me pictures once he calmed down (usually just a few minutes later) using their daycare app to let me know he is doing fine.
I noticed almost immediately after starting here, my son began enjoying the process of cleaning up and putting things back in order where they belong. He has also become fluent in his ABCs, 123s, loves singing songs and talking about what he played with at school. Overall I feel the staff at BLM really care about both child and parent and have done an excellent job not only teaching academics but providing an environment for my son where he can grow as an individual and enjoy learning.
We wish BLMM had a Kinder program - that's how much we love it here!
Safety, care and development were the top 3 priorities for selecting a Preschool for our son. BLMM was the right choice for us. So much that we've already secured a slot for my almost 2 yo.
BLMM was referred to us by my good friend, where her entire family has had their children attend daycare and Preschool here too.
We use an app to check in and out our child and communicate via messaging throughout the day. The teachers also send updates and photos through the app, which I always enjoy seeing. All the images I've included are from the school and in case you're wondering, they do follow mask guidelines.
We like the dynamics between everyone here and how they work together to support each other. I think this is important as it reflects on how they treat our children. I do want to call out that the teacher to student ratio is very effective.
I enjoy hearing about what he has learned in class and using new vocabulary each day. I love listening to him sing all the songs and stories of all his "best friends." He's definitely grown so much and adores the entire staff here at BLMM. We highly recommend Bright Little Minds Montessori.
For two years now our son has been at Bright Little Minds, he is now 4 years old. His previous daycare was a decent priced corporate run daycare which we liked but didn't love; it still felt corporate. Bright Little Minds on the other hand has a family feel to it. Ms. Akanksha, Ms. Daniela, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Ivy, Ms. Ellen, and Ms. Liza have all been wonderful and patient in helping our son learn.
Though each teacher has their own teaching style, our son has learned the alphabet, can trace, and now freehand draw his letters, knows the accompanying sounds to each one, has learned to sing in Spanish, and practices fun activities like sweeping up pieces of paper with a brush to hone in on his motor skills! My hubby and I feel lucky to have our son go here and we feel blessed that he's got a safe and rigorous environment to learn in. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Children are provided with instruction that promotes an interest in art, language, math, music, and building relationships. With small preschool class sizes that ensure more individualized attention, we are confident that your child will thrive in our award-winning preschool programs, preparing them for our private elementary school curriculum and private middle school at West Valley Middle School.
Each of our preschool programs at Action Day Schools are centered on promoting the development of the whole child. We seek to provide our families with opportunities to indulge in creative outlets that encourage exploration and self-discovery. As such, we offer a variety of extracurricular programs in 3 Bay Area dance studios, music, gymnastics, and children’s sports programs, many of which are available to children eighteen-months and older.
